Dr. Muzamil Shah

About

Muzamil Shah received his M.Sc and M.Phil degrees from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2010 and 2012, respectively. Later on, he completed his Ph.D in 2021 from the department of physics, LUMS. The applied areas of his research include Quantum transport in quantum 2D materials, spin and valley polarized magneto-optics, spinorbitronics in TMDs, band structure engineering in atomically thin materials, proximity induced properties in few-layer stacks, many-body phenomena in few-layer thin materials, Faraday and Kerr rotation, Goos-Hanchen and Imbert-Fedorov shifts, photonic spin Hall effect in 2D quantum materials.
