Dr. Shakir Ullah

About

Dr. Shakir Ullah is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He completed a two-year postdoc at the Institute of Nuclear Sciences, Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. He earned his PhD in Quantum Physics from the Department of Physics, COMSATS University Islamabad, Islamabad Campus, Pakistan. Dr. Shakir mainly works in quantum information, quantum computation, and quantum optics. Particularly, the areas of his research interest include quantum correlations, quantum teleportation, quantum plasmonics, quantum heat engines, second harmonic generation, four-wave mixing, parametric conversion, optomechanical systems, Gaussian Boson Sampling, computational complexity, and other related topics.
